Mike is a native to the area and graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Investments. He has had his securities licensing since 2013 and began working full time with James Financial Partners in 2018 after 20 years as an Agency Owner at Connell Insurance. While operating Connell Insurance he worked with Tyler / JFP as their financial arm with their high-net-worth clients of Connell Insurance and formed a steadfast friendship and appreciation for how Tyler was able to help their clients.
Investments and Financial Planning has been a life-long avocation of Mikes and being able to do it full time has been a real pleasure for him. His favorite aspect of his job is helping clients by shedding light on how they can reach their dreams and goals for their kids, retirement or other goals in the most efficient way possible. He takes a fiduciary approach to understanding his clients wants, needs and fears and then develops the best path for their financial well-being while working to minimize risk. Mike is also one of only a handful of Registered Social Security Analysts in the State of Missouri. Mike’s office is in the Branson Financial Center in downtown Branson, MO., and still works in the Springfield office as well. He calls the Ozarks his home with his beautiful wife of 31 years where they raised two lovely daughters. They are both avid fly fishers; fishing both Lake Taneycomo and Table Rock Lakes as well as boating. If he’s not in the office, you will find him outdoors enjoying the Ozarks.
